Within the framework of enhancing cooperation and beneficial partnership with governmental and private organizations, Al Falah University signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Department of Economic Development. The agreement will strive to have a productive collaboration between the two parties in the field of academic, scientific research and other common interests. AFU and DED are also optimistic that the agreement would benefit both sides.

Taking into consideration the precautionary measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19,  the MoU was signed electronically by Mr. Ali Ibrahim Mohamed, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Economic Development in Dubai, and Prof. Adi Arida, President of Al Falah University.

Under the agreement, employees of the Department of Economic Development will be eligible for various scholarships, including all employees and first-degree relatives, up to 20%, with the aim of encouraging the employees to complete their education, especially in the specializations needed by the labor market in the United Arab Emirates.

Cooperation with the Department of Economic Development is one of the effective steps that AFU brought to fruition to achieve its goal of being an institution providing high quality of education to members of the society which is in line with the vision of the Emirate of Dubai, and of the United Arab Emirates.
