Dr. Noor Atatreh Heads Delegation to Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing

A delegation from Al Falah University headed by AFU’s Chancellor, Dr. Noor Aldeen Atatreh, has visited the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing in Dubai to discuss methods of cooperation between the two organizations in the fields of education, community engagement and scientific research.  His Excellency Helal Saeed Almarri, Director General of Dubai’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing, has received AFU’s Chancellor Dr. Atatreh and President, Prof. Abdelhafid Belarbi on the 15th of April, 2019.

Dr. Atatreh and His Excellency Almarri discussed the activation of cooperation between AFU and the Department through strategic employment opportunities and innovative training initiatives that promote touristic culture among university students in the fast growing city, Dubai.

Dr. Noor Aldeen Atatreh has stated that AFU prepares graduates to support the commercial sector in Dubai and market its diverse cultural activities.   The University prepares students through existing academic programs and courses.

Additionally, His Excellency Helal Saeed Almarri, stressed that the Department is continuously opening its doors to fresh graduates and sponsoring training and career opportunities, especially for university students with tourism and events management knowledge. He added that the Department is always striving to reflect a distinctive image for the Emirate of Dubai.  

At the end of the meeting, the two sides stressed the need to strengthen relations, exchange ideas and knowledge, create productive initiatives, and support scientific research.
