Al Falah University Participates in Dubai Car Free Day
In efforts to increase endeavors for a clean, healthy and sustainable environment, Al Falah University eagerly participated today in the eight year of Dubai Car Free Day. A number of government and private institutions are involved in the initiative organized by Dubai Municipality.
Faculty members and administrative staff of AFU rode public transportations instead of personal vehicles to reduce carbon emissions from vehicles in support of the government’s drive towards a green and sustainable future for current and future generations.
Dr. Reneh Ramsis from the College of Mass Communication stated that “The University seeks to educate students in preserving the environment through academic studies and practical application of this theoretical knowledge.”
The participation of Al Falah University in Dubai Car Free Day is to materialize the ambitious objectives for UAE 2021 Plan in the transition to a sustainable cities through the development of a clean and healthy environment.
